HydroNet allows analyzing the hydraulic behaviour of a multiconnected pressure network in condition of permanent motion. The adopted numerical algorithm appears particularly reliable and flexible as pumping plants and different regulation devices typically in a network can be studied very easily. The pressure network analysis under condition of permanent motion is based on the resolution of non linear equations of continuity and momentum. The method used by the model was proposed by Lewis and Mills (1980), based on the simultaneous resolution of the equations of nodes, linearized with a numerical scheme of the first order. This numerical iterative method guarantees always the solution convergence.
