SuperNet can be used both to design new pressure networks and to renovate already existing pressure networks.

The innovative model allows assessing the most cost-efficient configuration and, at the same time, to maintain an elevated degree of efficiency and reliability of pressure network. The method allows analyzing manifold load conditions, foreseeing the break-up of pipelines, meeting specific needs of exceptional demand volumes (e.g. because of fires), always respecting pressure constraints in the different points of the network and reaching, at the same time, maximum efficiency at minimum cost.

Hydraulic Analysis:

• It is a tool of great interest since it allows determining the most cost-efficient solution under different operational conditions of the network, minimizing at the same time the sum of energetic costs, necessary for the management of the hydraulic system, with initial investment, referring to the network implementation.

• It determines the optimal configuration of a system subject at the same time to different load conditions.

• It calculates values for pressure, flow, velocity and HGL in different points of the network and the plants.
